Most facilities allow up to 15 years of age, however we allow up to 17 years or a currently enrolled secondary school student up to 19yo. Because of this, proof of age or school enrolment may be required.
The above applies to general admission, tours, encounters and memberships.
Children up to 2 years of age are admitted free of charge. There is a maximum of 2 free admissions per accompanying adult and a charge of $10 applies to any child under 3 in excess of this. Reception staff may determine if children appear over this age and require a child ticket. Their decision will be final.

We try to replicate conditions in the wild as much as possible and we generally house species depending on their own natural preferences. In some cases (where housing them with others could cause stress and aggression), they have their own enclosure - many animals lead a solitary lifestyle in the wild and only come together for breeding purposes. Tigers are a good example of this.
