Green and Golden Bell frog are beautifully coloured frogs that inhabit parts of New South Wales and Victoria. The frogs are very vocal; males will let out a growl followed by a series of grunts, and are most often heard calling after rain.

Green and golden bell frogs usually lay their eggs in
pools or ponds during spring and summer. Their eggs
are laid in a clear gel, not in a white foamy mass like
those of many other frogs.
